Very nice Halloween game! What is a little annoying, however, is the fact that you have to completely exit and reload the game after every "Game Over" (tested with the Demo Version). Our German-language review can be found in our recorded livestream starting at 01:54:57. English subtitles are also available. Subscription to our YouTube and Twitch channel is welcome. 🙂
Thanks, Yes it's in game description that DEMO version does this, the full version returns to menu ! I noticed you not read game instructions... you miss the hole idea on the game ! ;)
Great game, I guess Elli likes to play too. I also included it in my new "Gameplay of New Amiga Games from October 2024" video, along with other Amiga games released in October.
It's same game just with time limit, there is no code difference, does key M switch anything ? start/stop music. I did a stream yesterday with the retail version and there was no problems, music plays.
ohh V4, I had a lot of problem to make it run on it, Tracker locked it up, maybe it's my core 10400 that's fault ?? so I changed player for V4 HW but kept old one for non V4 since the new player not working on plain Amiga..... What core are you running? I think I have to take a second look at this...
Hi , I was not todo special Vampire version but it got me wondering why Tracker is not working on it, anyhow I've put up a new version 1.09 this requires manual action, so you probably need just to start the game and music should play, the before Vampire autodetect is moved to hold L-SHIFT during launch of game icon... I'm to remove it entirely in future...
I wanted to try it at my A1200 with TF1260 accelerator - when pressing fire at the start screen: the screen becomes black and nothing else is shown, the music plays, if I press ESC the game resets the system and it reboots. So, the game itself isn't crashed, do you have any idea what could be wrong?
running from WB3.1 > ?!, run game and wait a bit longer time if it comes alive the screen. try turn of cache etc. on cpu / try other expansion card. try run no ss and manually loadwb for max chipmem / it should just run it's a plain AGA game, if it was demo version DL latest and try again
I am adding the game to be available on AmigaLive for easy emulation.
Requirements 40+ MIPS? Nah, I emulated it on a A1200 with some 4MB Fast mem.
Looks very nice! Had some collision issues at the start when I enter the pumpkin's mouth and push upwards towards the eyes, I get stuck every time. I hope to see the final release soon :)
Yes, still using emulation, but emulation is as good and accurate a real machine these days. I doubt it needed the Fast memory even, but I use the FastMem in my configuration for decompressing the LHA files through a loader, so the user just needs to drop the LHA in their hard-drives folder and run the game from the AmigaLive "single-player" list.
Another issue which I hope you are aware so to plan to fix, is that the weapon projectile sprites disappear and reappear at random.. Enemies can see you through walls and are also able to pass through walls (not sure if its supposed to)...

That's cool thanks! Nice compilation/gameplays
hi,
umm.. how is it that in the demo i can hear the awesome music but in the retail version it's just silence..? : (((

yeah i tried pressing M a lot but no result.. maybe it's because i'm on a bloody V4 where nothing ever works right.
weird that the demo works - it's a lower version though iirc.

i'm still on SA_9889 because it sucks less : ) at least tech dawn technomage doesn't crssh and it's stable. the new cores have been a catastrophe..
anyway hmu anytime if you need a tester, i'll even flash cores if i have to : )

Booting without StartUp-Sequence and then just using LoadWB did it - then the game runs :)
maybe your low on chip mem on normal boot or something else is in way... good that it runs ;)
Nice game. Demo ver. 1.06
thanks !!

ohhh, cool I have no real machine to test on... good to know
Just a bare 020EC 14Mhz with some fast ram ??
Pumpkin is a fixed issue among some other things.... v1.06 final I hope.
Thanks!

projectiles do this if cpu power is too low, 68040 should fix it, enemies are ghosts, they go trough all
The sets the requirements then.. everything else plays nicely..
Hi , looks fun , hope you make it avaliable for the A500mini.
thanks, maybe...
It requires ASM coding to fix a slave for it :(
Nice game, thanks.
I'm glad you like it!
Nice demo!
Thanks for trying out the game ;)
